A Russian breeder created her own litter of Jellicle kittens, complete with eerily human faces that would give a run for their money to the musical’s cast.
The 44-year-old felinologist and animal lover, Tatyana Rastorgueva, has been raising cats since 2002.
She’s got a bunch of adorable, regular furballs at first sight. Then look again-they look like individuals.
Rastorgueva has managed to produce the supremely rare (nonetheless lovable) felines by a painstaking breeding process-the Maine Coons are the product of breeding father cat Vatican and mother cat Lucien.
Rastorgueva, from Moscow, explained:
I enjoy animals so much, and cats have always been a part of my life. But in 2002, I started to professionally breed cats, and since 2004, I have been working directly with Maine Coons. I enjoy what I do. I would tell that my call is for cats.
Each breeder has his own view of the breed and, according to certain characteristics that are important to him, selects individuals for further selection.
When people gather to take a look at their piercing eyes and strikingly human facial features, the unusual Russian cats have caused quite the uproar online. She maintains an Instagram account of more than 83,000 followers, @catsvill county, packed with cats’ snaps.

Through a painstaking breeding process, Rastorgueva has managed to create the supremely unusual (nonetheless lovable) felines – the Maine Coons are the result of breeding father cat Vatican and mother cat Lucien.
Rastorgueva, from Moscow, explained:
I really love animals, cats have always been a part of my life. But I began to professionally breed cats in 2002, I have been working directly with Maine Coons since 2004. I like what I do, I can say that cats are my calling.
Each breeder has his own vision of the breed and selects individuals for further selection according to those traits that are important to him.
The Russian’s unique cats have caused quite the stir online, as people flock to catch a look at their piercing eyes and distinctly human facial features. She manages an Instagram account – @catsvill_county – packed with snaps of the cats, with more than 83,000 followers.
I would tell that I concentrated on the kind of Maine Coon that I prefer while dealing with the breed, which is why I now have a familiar ‘face’ type of kittens in my nursery. This is just the breeder’s long and painstaking work. I love all animals, cats in particular. The Maine Coons totally stole my spirit.
Only staring at the funny pets causes flashbacks to the new Cats trailer, which is totally creepy in the area of being more.
On the basis of T. This fully-fledged, live-action movie looks poised for years to come to arm the world’s sleep paralysis nightmares, S. Eliot’s book of poems and Andrew Lloyd Webber’s classic musical.
What are the Cats, I hear you ask? That’s a bloody good question, one that I wish with some authority I could answer firmly. But I can’t, because it just doesn’t make sense.
A tribe of cats called the Jellicles must decide yearly which one will ascend to the Heaviside Layer and come back to a new Jellicle life.
